This is an issue that will be resolved in 3.5. As far as the details of why this is happening, I can only speculate a GUID has been mixed up somewhere. But as of now there is no fix so be sure to grab 3.5 and the new Media Manager when it is released in a few weeks.

I have installed the media manager on 32 and 64 Win OS's and Mac OS's with the k1000 client and have never seen that behavior.

Hey Guys,

If you open up the k2 media manager install ID via ORCA, You change the installer ID. This will allow it to install fine.

Comments:
  • How do I open the install ID with Orca? I can open the MSI, but I don't find an install ID in the database for either install. The package code in the summary info is different from the media manager to the agent. - sramsey 11 years ago
