commands for wise commandline ...

can anyone tell me command prompt commands for the scaning pre/post,remote/localcompiling msi/mst etc.
like for istalling msi its c:\msiexec ........

where can i find these commands listed ..... if its not listed i would like to list down with switches ....

i want to write batch commands for simple action like pre-scan compile and install with the proper switches... [m working on wise 6.01 so all is in reference with same]

what m looking for is on same line ....
msiexec /i filemname.msi /L*v is one example switches we can find out.... what i wanted is like msiexec is for installing /uninstalling msi .... command for pre scan,post scan, compile and edit windows installer properties ....

now all this i m tellling in contex of wise 6.01 as tht is only tool n version i hv worked for packaging .....

At the run command just type in msiexec.exe /?





Is that all you're after? Or have I read your question incorrectly?

i dont want switches for msiexec ..... tht u can get if u run msiexec

i want commands for prescan,post scan and compile .....

i hope there are commands for all this actions ....

Have you looked in Edit - Tool Configuration in the Workbench? You can se all the commands, along with their parameters there at least. It looks like 'Wfwi.exe /c "<path>\<filename>.wsi"' will compile a wsi file, for example.
