I tried creating a rule that closed all child tickets when the Parent Ticket status = Purchase Cancelled

The child tickets that were open changed to Purchase Cancelled but new child tickets in the work flow process still opened as status of new.

Also the tickets didn't actually close they just said purchase cancelled which isn't a big deal if the Parent Ticket and Child Tickets say Purchase Cancelled, but I really need to stop the creation of the other child tickets within the work flow.

Any ideas of how to keep the child tickets from opening and if possible show the parent as purchase cancelled but all other currently open child tickets to close?
