Cisco Jabber 10.5.2 crashing on Windows 8.1

Hey all -

I'm running Windows 8.1 Enterprise and I upgrade Cisco Jabber from Cisco Jabber 9.7.2 to 10.5.2. The software seems to install just fine. When I open the software, I can sign into the software just fine but after about 5-10 seconds, the software crashes. A Windows error pops up and says "Cisco Jabber has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." I can then hit close and reopen the software and get the same result.

The first time I installed 10.5.2, i just upgrade from 9.7.2. I've since removed all Cisco software from my PC, rebooted and installed the integration services software and then Jabber 10.5.2 and i am getting the same result.

I've attempted everything I can think of, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Luke

Attempted the install today with the exact steps and with computers doing what computers do, everything works like a charm today. Apparently i just had to have a coworker watch me do it for it to work properly.
