Changed MSI self heal issue

Hi,
I have one MSI which is installed on some machines. Now I need to add two more files in the msi which i have done and put the modified MSI to the main Server from whr all the MSI's get installed and self-Healed...

My questions is that since i have changed the msi will it self-heal for MSI which is already installed whenever required.......Though I have changed the MSI, Product code is still same.

Thanks,

You have to reinstall the clients .msi to make that work because the client refers to the cached msi under WinRoot\Installer

It only refers back to the install point if a component is missing or corrupted. It uses that local copy for the self check. Depending on what you've changed, you may be able to get away with repair via the MSIEXEC command line. Use the /fvomus switch to repair from source and recache the local copy.

I would use REINSTALL=ALL REINSTALLMODE=VOMUS, to make a complete reinstallation of everything in the new package
