Curious is anyone has wanted to have an active pdf in their knowledge base? Maybe I'm going about this in the wrong, we have a change manaement document that needs to be filled out before any changes take place. However - this is a word doc outside Kace. I would like to make the "Article Text" field active so we can just put in our requests and save it.

  • This type of response doesn't seem appropriate - of course he could contact support, but if everyone's question was returned with a "contact support" response, there wouldn't be a need for the community to assist via general thoughts, work-arounds, or suggestions on alternative methods to achieving the goal.

    Hey Volcy, I personally would love to see a "change management" tab in the service desk portion of the K1000 instead of creating a separate queue or flagging with Article Text. ITIL is becoming standard practice and change management is a key function for tons of companies. Just my two cents.
  • It will be proper for Volcy to explain what he is trying to achieve. When he is adding an attachment as a file or is he trying to edit the 'Article Text'?
