Change asset type on switches
When i am importing switches to my assets, the type is computer. I want to change the type to my own asset type like "network units". Is that possible?

I don't believe it is possible if you are adding them using the new discovery method. I order to do that you would have to add them by creating their own table in the Assets module. - nshah 9 years ago

If i choose to create their own table, i suppose that i dont get automatic information, like MAC-adress, IP and so on? - strande 9 years ago
