Capturing Argus Software

The capture hungs up at the end of the capture i.e., when checking for dependencies. And it never proceed further.
Can anybody help me in getting this fixed.

Turn All Services Off before capture?
failing that try a capture with InstallWatch, then import the results back into wise or installshield

Hi - Thanks for the reply.
The Argus .exe is bundled with 3 msi applications.
1)dotNET framework
2)Crystal X1 report
3)Borland database engine.
When capturing the installation, all the above mentioned dependencies with the main application will be captured and this was causing the problem.

Solution: I disabled the Windows Installer service and then successfully captured the application. And using a wrapper script I installed the above 3 dependencies after installing the Argus msi.

For next time, you'll find it somewhat easier to install dependencies first, before you begin the capture. Disabling WI is a bit of a sledge-hammer-to-crack-a-nut approach.
