Capturing a Windows 7 master image with NTFS compression enabled

Does KACE 2000 support the ability to capture a system prepped image which has NTFS compression enabled on the drive? Currently we are running version 3.7.113224.

Thanks,

Bob

  • I just received a capture error: Capture Image Error: D: [err= 665] ... Cannot capture/append image: The requested operation could not be completed due to a file system limitation. Any idea what that is referencing? - rwpucko 8 years ago
    • What kind of image format have you selected? K-IMAGE or WIM?

    • Hello. Sorry for the delay due to the Christmas break. I can confirm that I was able to capture a Windows 7 x64 with the C drive compressed using the WIM format.
If the problem persists I'd suggest to open a call with the support and attach the capture log file as well.
You can find them in \\yourK2000\petemp
