Capture Apple ASR format Images

I'm trying to figure out what "Capture Apple ASR format Images" does when capturing a Mac OS image.  Should I choose it, or shouldn't I?
I've typed in various ways to ask this question in the search box, but search brings up all sorts of unrelated topics.
Am I doing something wrong within search?  This isn't the only time I've tried to research something - only to have topic after topic of nothing related to what I'm searching for show up.
Thanks

  • I have better luck searching with google vs the built in site search. Just add itninja, kace, or k2000 to the search parameters in google - SMal.tmcc 7 years ago

It is equivalent to MS wims vs kimage.  The ASR will be one big file on the kbox vs many individual files.  It will be faster but also consume more k2 space if you are capturing multiple mac images since it will not do a file de-dupe for storage
