When trying to PXY boot into k2000 I get this error. I am unsure why it has started erroring out. I recently changed set the password to the drivers share. Maybe this is related? How can I set the default on the drivers share or change it in KBE?

*** Mounting the KBOX install shares

System error 86 has occured.

The specified network password is not correct.

Error: Unable to mount KBOX share at \\172.17.1.212\pcinst

Answer Summary:
Reset the password to default or create a new KBE.

If you changed the share password then you'll need to build a new KBE.  Use the Media Manager or the KBE Manipulator to do this.

  • Okay thanks for the link. Through the video tutorial I discovered the default password, reset the password to the default, and now it works. Thanks!
    • Yup that would work too!
