Can we use KACE2000 to upgrade existing Windows 7 clients to Windows 10?

I thought I saw an article several months ago that mentioned that you could upgrade existing Windows 7 clients to Windows 10 with the KACE2000. I just tried to search for that article but couldn't find it.

Is it possible to upgrade existing Windows 7 clients  that are joined to our AD domain to Windows 10 using a KACE2000 deployment and still retain the end users profiles and files?

This can be done. I believe this is the link to the instructions:

I'm sure you could adapt this to use with K2000, but we do it using a self-service script in K1000.
  • Extract the Win10 ISO to a folder on your \\<K1000>\client\  share.
  • Create script to run:
     \\<K1000>\client\<Win10 files>\setup.exe /auto upgrade /installfrom \\<K1000>\client\<Win10 files>\sources\install.wim /dynamicupdate disable
Make the script available for self service in "User Downloads". We restrict users from upgrading using an LDAP group. Its been working great so far. No issues losing settings, or user data. AD binding stays put. A few little quirks between Win7 and Win10 are expected, but the script just works.
