can't create mst file to install BO XI in french
Hi,
I try to create an mst for BO XI 3.0 (Build 12.0.0.683) with Install Tailor.
At the end of the process, there is no .mst file in the project folder.

If InstallTailor completed without error and/or crashing, it has to have put the MST somewhere. I'd start in your TEMP folder, followed by %SystemRoot%\TEMP, then %SystemRoot% itself.

no, i've checked again, just a .tmp file in the project folder but nothing else.....

If that TMP file remains after IT exits, I'd be tempted to think that IT had crashed, not exited cleanly, as WPS creates TMP files as intermediaries before writing the actual target file.
It wouldn't be the first time that WPS has choked on an app. If it were me, I'd be tempted to download an evaluation version of InstallShield's AdminStudio and use its Tuner to create an MST.

i get 2 errors with Adminstudio Tuner :
"Unspecified error"
and then : "No Msi Database is currently opened"
and obviously, no .mst file created.

You need to open the base MSI before starting Tuner. I'm surprised it didn't prompt you. If my VMs weren't tied up compiling, I'd check my own copy.

you can't click on the create button if the base msi is not selected....

Your last two statements would appear to be contradictory, i.e. Tuner says that no MSI is opened, then you say you can't select 'Create' unless an MSI is open.
