Can I move registration from the current user profile to the local machine profile
I have recieve a vendor msi that contains clsid keys in the current user profile to avoid having to use current user finishing.
Is it risky to move these to the local machine hive or is this always without risk

Are you sure that they're hard-coded to HKCU? Could it be that you're installing per-user instead of per-machine?

If you're going to install per-machine I would suggest to write the info into HKLM.
As standard it should go into HKCR to support for per-user & machine.
