If we have a working Mgd install that we want to also have in the User Library, how can we connect it?

Managed Installs and User Console Library items are stored separately and there's not a button to convert an MI directly over to a UC item. Best bet is to just create a new UC Library item, upload the installer and copy/paste the command line parameters from the MI to the UC Library install. You can submit a feature request to the User Voice page or vote on an existing request if someone has already made one for an improvement you'd like to see. https://kace.uservoice.com/

  • Great timing. Kace is on speaker with us saying pretty much the same thing. It's misleading because the dropdown above the "Install" radio button appears to be part of the "Download" option only. But you can select software for download and check the Install button.
    Yes, we did make our interest in a better UI for that page very clear. :-)

    Thanks for the clarification. Much appreciated. If I never see Lync 2010 again, it will be too soon.
