Applying patch to an admin install

HI..
I have a msi file which I have uncompressed through admin install on a shared installation point...Now I have a msp file which will update few files of this msi..
My objective is to apply the patch in such a way to the admin install point so that the decompressed files (of the admin install) are updated and when any users access the msi from the shared location they will install the updated file when they run the .msi..
Is this possible??

Hi Mainak,
that's one of the proposed features of a MSP file. Use a command line like this:
msiexec /a <admin install.msi> /p <your patch.msp>
