AppDeploy Repacker completely misses shortcuts?
Brand new to this tool.
Ran through this many times, but it always misses shortcuts created by the .exe under C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup (Win XP).
Folder is included, not excluded. Still finds nothing every time. Is this tool that bad or am I missing something?

The last step in the wizard (before actually generating the MSI) allows you to choose any executables captured so that you may specify shortcuts to be created by the installation (as well as how they should look, where they should be placed)

I didn't see that step, but I did get the shortcut added with Orca, so I'm good. Have to play around with this tool some more. - rotheda 10 years ago
