We are seeing two issues with this agent, one one Server 2003, another on Server 2008.

2003 - Everytime you login, you get the message that it is installing managed software Dell Kace Agent... It appears for about 5 - 10 seconds then dissapears, but everytime you login.

2008 - After the agent is installed, everytime you reboot and login, you get the warning that the server was not shut down properly. You uninstall it, the problem goes away, re-install it - comes right back.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You may want to consider moving to the newest agent and server to see if that helps. It was released Oct 14th. Another update is schedule for sometime in November.

Just updated to 5.3.47657 on Win2k8R2 and still get the message about improper shutdown.

Update: Windows 2008 x64 does not.
