Adobe Standard 7 does not work by GPO

Hi,
I have Adobe Standard 7 which works great as a "MSIEXEC /I" but once we try to deploy it by GPO as a machine policy it will try and install again on first use and then not show any sign of the problem being installed.

As anyone packaged this one up before for GPO or know any tips or things I need to look out for.

Regards

Dan

Hi Dan,
same advice as always: Turn on logging and check the logfile. In the case of a machine based GPO install, the logfile goes to %windir%\temp\.
The error is also available in the Event viewers application branch.

I patched this to the current version 7.0.9 and it seems to be ok now.

Many Thanks

In the case of a machine based GPO install, the logfile goes to %windir%\temp\.
As an aside, since GP uses the System account, all GP deployments will use %WinDir%\TEMP for log files if MSI logging is enabled.
