My fav way to deploy Adobe Reader is by using the Adobe Customization Wizard. It will help you build your own customized silent install. It's easy once you get the hang of it.

The following works for a sielnt install for me.

adberdr1001_en_us.exe" /msi EULA_ACCEPT=YES /qn

If you have to customize it then use the Adobe Customization wizard to create MST and then install both MSI and MST together

I would suggest you to check with Vendor and see if there is also a latest patch available so that you can bundle the patch and the MSI in a single suite and then install .
