AdminStudio Tuner PreValidation - AdbeRdr707?
Hi
I am new to Admin Studio 7 and looking to package Adobe Reader 707.
I have downloaded and extracted the AdbeRdr707_en_US_distrib.exe. I have then done an msiexec /a "Adobe Reader 7.0.7.msi" <deployment target>
When I open up the resulting "Adobe Reader 7.0.7.msi" in Tuner, to create a TRANSFORM and run the Prevalidation (Full MSI Validation Suite, All ICEs) I get:
"Validation Completed. Tuner has detected the following for Adobe Reader 7.0.7.msi - 0 info(s) 148 warning(s) 101 error(s)"
Is this correct? Am I doing something fundamentally wrong?
Any info/background you can provide on using Tuner and Validation would be gratefully recieved!!

Hi djbrightman,
What im doing in creating transforms is that, im using the installshield editor instead of the tuner. Once you already open the editor, go in file, new then enter project name, and location and double click on transforms. Select next, browse your msi, next, next, uncheck response transforms then finish. You can customize now pre validate your msi and soon on. Hope this helps.[:)]
