Just upgraded to 3.6 on K2000 and suddently the Postinstallation of one of my task is getting error message for Admin Password to set to expire.

The command I have is

wmic useraccount where"name='Administrator'"setPasswordExpires=false

I know the quotes should be taken out for 3.6 and the K2 Tool seems to pass this command.

Someone who might have any other ideas or command to use.

  • Do you know what the error is? Also, how was the task created? i.e. is it an Application or BAT Script?

  • Does the commnand work with spaces? Have you tried it in 3.6?
    • as BHC-Austin asked, are you running this as a app or bat script?
