I want to add 2 files in My Documents. In msi where can i put those files? I can write a script but want to know way through ms.
Can I directly create My Documents folder in windows>profiles?

Hint: look at the Directory table. Take note of the directories and their parents. The folder 'PersonalFolder' maps to 'My Documents'. You can work out the rest, I'm sure.

Remember, if you're installing stuff to the user's profile, you may want to use Active Setup.

I added 1 row, in directory table. after which Full Directory became My Documents\pgp but how can i add files in to it. Because in gui I am not able to see it

Because in gui I am not able to see it Wise sometimes gets itself in a twist, especially when items are added directly to the tables. The knack is to choose a different item in the 'Installation Expert' view then switch back. So, if you were in the 'File' window, choose 'Registry', wait for the window to refresh, then switch back to 'File'.
