i package active sync but went i plug the pocket pc in it open a windows (ramdon window) every time ?? it open the regular active sync program file but also another windows it can be program files or c:\ or anything help

This happens to me also, thought it was something to do with the repackaging (and obviously there IS something there) but can see absolutely nothing in the .msi. Strange thing this, the application's behaviour is not affected by repackaging but thats exactly what appears to be happening.....

Hi,
Check your package. Look in the registry.
There is probably something in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows CE Services\AutoStartOnConnect and HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows CE Services\AutoStartOnConnect what causes the unwanted opening of the explorer.
The only item in these keys in my package is <default>
