Acrobat version (pro or standard) ?

We are using Altiris Deployment Solution and with the metering solution, we need to know if it possible to determinate which version of acrobat they have (pro of standard). Since Acrobat.exe is the same (date and size) with either version, anyone know how get this information ?

- Getting the packed ProductCode GUID from HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall?
- Executable size?
- Does Pro have a file or set of files which Standard doesn't?

We already have the inventory of all pc that use Pro or Standard but like to know if they using it. We create a metering request on acrobat.exe but for either version, the file version is the same and so is the file size.

The only thing, I think, we can do is to create a collection that look for Standard and other one for Pro and do the metering within those collection.

Look in [HKLM\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\YourVersion\Installer] for ENU_GUID and get the product guid.
If it has "BA7E" in it {xx##xx##-####-####-BA7E-############}, it's the Standard flavor.
If it has "7760" in it {xx##xx##-####-####-7760-############}, it's the Professional flavor.

That's the best way I know of determining whether Pro or Std is installed.
