acrobat 9.0 professional

hi all,

i have packaged acrobat 9.0 pro and all is good. but i need to make another package for the french version.

acrobat 9.0 with all patches is 1.36gb. it will take a lot of space on our repeaters, so i have no wish to create a second package only for a french version.

when opening acrobat, going to Edit - Preferences, into International, there is an option to change the language. but currently, only english is available.

is there a way to add the english & french languages to the same package, so the option will present both languages to choose from?

thanks!

I spent all night searching every entry in the Adobe forum until I found this. If only there were some way to search the web for things like this. Someone will make an absolute killing when they invent something like that.

hi VBScab, thank you very much for that!

but unfortunately, this is not what i need. i saw that option but the thing is that acrobat could be installed in french on an english windows. please don't ask! lol

i need to find out how to add the french language so that in edit - preferences - international, users will have french available.

thanks!

well what do you know! it's already embedded!

in edit - preferences - international, if you choose "Choose at application startup", there are 3 choices;

english, french or deutch

so you choose the one you want and acrobat is in that language.

thanks!
