2 CD problem

I have a Vendor MSI which prompts for second CD during installation. I cant create a transform as it crashes during Build.

My problem: MSI prompts for second CD and I dont want second CD to be used. Instead I want to copy that CD content to harddisk along with the MSI and continue wid the installation .

How can this be achieved.

I tried deleting DISKPROPERTY :P

Again, more info up front would be useful. A couple of thoughts:

Admin Install
Media Table

Stupid question but are running the install from the first CD or from copies of the CD on a local or network drive?

Sorry guys for not being elaborate enough..

The application has an MSI to be installed. This app is on TWO different CDs.
I copied this whole media on my hard disk and edited the MSI. When I install this MSI , it asks for the second CD coz of the DISKPROPERTY. but I dont want this prompt to come as I want to install his application silently.

How can i remove this Error and directly proceed the installation without the prompt for cd 2 ??

Getting admin image of your vendor MSI might solve the issue. While creating admin image it will ask for the 2nd CD. Once done you can use this admin image (everything under one folder) for application installation.

yep this is by far the easiest solution - if the vendor msi supports it...

msiexec /a vendorfile.msi

good luck
