I have two contract openings starting immediately in downtown Boston.

The application packaging engineer will be creating and maintaining automated installations using packaging tools and scripts. The output of the packaging engineer is standard Executable (EXE) and Microsoft Installer (MSI) files compatible with the Windows operating system. The EXE and MSI files are subsequently tested and deployed to the enterprise desktops and laptops.

Responsibilities:

Support the application installation packages for Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003, troubleshoot SMS installation issues of the application packages, and develop best practices around software packaging, application deployment, and custom development in support of the application packages.
