• Work with Microsoft Visual C++ (MS-VC) project builds and carry out basic debugging (build debugging, not source code debugging.

• Creating InstallShield packages (both Basic MSI and InstallScript types)

• Creating App V Sequences as per project requirements for various project environments, such as; Testing, Production, Disaster Recovery and Maintenance

• Helping to own and manage/modify the configuration settings, object configuration and any other information required for creation of InstallShield and AppV sequences across numerous applications, environments and client versions.

• Assist the Customer to maintain the packaging tools/automation processes and scripts associated with InstallShield and AppV sequence creation

• Assist the Customer to ensure the InstallShield project files and any associated project files and build/release files are correctly managed and maintained in the Customers source code control system(s) (these being ClearCase and PVCS)

• Provide assistance on both the Windows platform but also on the creation/modification of UNIX (Shell Scripting) and any databases such as SQL Server, Sybase and Oracle
