Looking for several contractors in the Chicagoland area for application packaging & virtualization engagements. Looking to start in the March timeframe for a three month period with possible extension.

Tasks will include;

o- Creating transforms and repackaging legacy installations for automated deployment on Windows 7 systems,

o- Follow defined processes, as well as working closely with the client to follow procedures for application compatibility, testing and quality assurance,

o- Working with application owners to troubleshoot failed installations,

o- Configuring deployment of packages via SCCM,

o- Creating packages for use in APP-V & MED-V environments,

o- Maintaining weekly status reports & adhering to SLA’s for customer turn-around.

Necessary skills:

o- Windows 7 & understanding of UAC

o- Wise Package Studio and/or Flexera AdminStudio,

o- APP-V & MED-V,

o- VB Scripting experience

o- Knowledge of SCCM & Citrix a plus

Experience: 5 years or more in a large corporate environment

Local contractors preferred as you must be on-site; neither remote packaging nor sponsorship is an option.
