Is there a way to mass import purchase and license information into KACE through a flat file (.csv, .xls, etc.)

I'm seeing under purchases in "Asset Management" for KACE that there is a section for purchases and licenses.   In the .csv export that we have for our purchase history; we have purchases in the hundreds, and at first glance the process to adding new purchases in KACE is done manually, one at a time through the "New" command

Answer Summary:
Go to Asset Management | Asset import for the wizard. But please make sure that you have first upgraded to v13.1 as you are unable to import license information and associate it with the required software catalog item.

It didn't work in v13.0 and I am informed that it should be fixed in v13.1 but I have not yet had the time to test it out.

Comments:
  • Sadly this bug was not important enough to address in the v13.1 release, so importing licenses and associating them with software items is still not possible. Maybe v14 will resolve this issue….. - Hobbsy 1 year ago
